Initial assessment: Dr. Malone will interview you privately or with a family member, if you wish, to understand your reason for coming in and to determine the likely causes and best course of action.
In Office Therapy
Individual psychotherapy: a 45 minute session to go in depth to the causes and solutions to the issues a person is experiencing. These are normally weekly and last a minimum of 6 to 12 weeks or until the issues are resolved
Medication management: If medications are indicated they will be thoroughly explained and a trial will be initiated. Dr. Malone is published broadly in the area and sees complex cases. Anxiety, sleep problems and pain are treated with non addictive medications
Marital or family therapy: A spouse or family member comes to the session to increase communications and resolve conflicts
Relaxation techniques: A variety a techniques are taught to give immediate and long term relief from anxiety and stress
Inpatient and residential treatments are available as Dr. Malone is the Medical director at two facilities that offer both.
